Position: Digital Media Intern
Commitment: Minimum 6-15 hours per week
Compensation: University credit may be arranged
Internship Description:
The Center for Asian American Media seeks an enthusiastic individual to assist the Digital Media Department with updating and expanding its online social networks. This internship, under the supervision of the Director of Digital Media, will assist with moderating our forum, participate in CAAM social media sites, and maintain the CAAM social networking pages.
Specific Duties:
* Assist in maintaining the CAAM social networking pages including facebook, myspace, twitter, flickr, and YouTube.
* Assist in soliciting user-generated content for the CAAM sites
* Assist in moderating our forum
* Maintain the online calendar of events
* Participate in our online social media sites

Qualifications:
* Able to work independently and efficiently
* Active in social media sites
* Good oral and written communications skill
* Must be able to work efficiently on a Mac
* Experience with HTML and Photoshop is a plus
* Ability to learn technical information quickly
* Ability to work respectfully in a team
* Knowledge or interest in Asian American independent media preferred
